Restored & Refinished

The original finish was restored on the base of the desk. Working the original shellac with denatured alcohol removed water spotting and filled in worn areas. Adding a few new coats of shellac and wax for protection. The top needed a little more work. Water stains and rings were removed. Missing veneer was replaced and feathered in. An oil based finish was added to the top for added protection.
